How to Create Matrix Code Effect in Photoshop - Graphic Design Education

Today Graphic Design Education going to presents how to create Matrix Code Effect Wallpaper in Photoshop. Actually today I enjoyed Matrix movie again. Matrix is one of my favorite move. I love this move very much cause of it's graphic, special effect and action. After finished this movie I took a decision to make a effect in Photoshop related with this movie. Finally I take a decision to create matrix code effect wallpaper. After taking decision I search over the Internet, I got lot's of tutorial but every tutorial is so difficult to learn. I can't find any easy tutorial! and it's so bad news for learner. But don't worry my tutorial is going be one of the easiest matrix code effect tutorial all over the world. You know I am going to write this tutorial for Graphic Design Education. And graphic design education always try to present easy and simple tutorials for learner. OK enough talk... lets start.




Application : Adobe Photoshop CS
Difficulty : Beginner or New to Photoshop
Complication Time : 10 minutes only



How to Create Matrix Code Effect in Photoshop - Graphic Design Education


Step 1 : Take a new page with white background
Take a new canvas or page from File>New set Width: 800 px, Height 600 px, Resolution 72, Color mode RGB and select White form Background Contents.
Already we get our canvas. Now we apply some filter to complete this wonderful and easiest tutorials.

Step 2 :  Apply Grain Filter
Go Filter > Texture > Grain a dialog box will open, now set some option in the right side of the box. Set Intensity 100, Contrast 100 and select Vertical from Grain Type then click OK.
Now you will see the hole canvas filled with black line like matrix code just like below.


Step 3 : Now apply Neon Glow Filter
In this step we add neon glow in our canvas. 
Go Filter – Artistic – Neon Glow set the Glow Size 5, Glow Brightness 20. Now set the Glow Color, click on the color box just right side glow color text and set a color code is #36ff00 then click OK and see the result below.



Step 4 : Apply Glowing Edges filter
Go Filter > Stylize > Glowing Edges set Edge Width 1, Edge Brightness 5, Smoothness 1 then click OK.

Step 5 : Add hue/saturation - This is the last step of the tuts presented by Graphic Design Education.
Go Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation set the Hue 180 then click OK and see matrix code effect wallpaper below.
