In this chapter we will learn about selection tools in Adobe Photoshop. As usually we use 3 types of selection tools in Adobe Photoshop.

a. Marquee Tool (M)
b. Lasso Tool (L)
c. Magic Wand Tool (W)

Introduction about Marquee Tool

When we need to select any area or area of an image, we use Marquee tool. There are 4 type of marquee tools. Such as -

1. Rectangular Marquee Tool
2. Elliptical Marquee Tool
3. Single Row Marquee Tool
4. Single Column Marquee Tool


Introduction about Lasso Tool

It's a another selection in Photoshop. When you need to select an area of an image as you want like lasso or polygon then we use this very tools. 
3 type of lasso tools have in Adobe Photoshop.
Such as -

1. Lasso Tool
2. Polygonal Lasso Tool
3. Magnetic Lasso Tool

Introduction about Magic Wand Tool

When we need to select similar type of color or similar color area then we use this tools.
