Create Water Wave Effect in Adobe Photoshop

Water wave effect. In this Photoshop tutorials we will learn how to create water wave effect. Sometimes when we try to create any graphics, we need many kinds of water wave effect. Maximum time we cant't create water wave. But after completing this psd tuts we will always made water wave effect easily. So let's Begin.

Application : Adobe Photoshop (any verson)
Difficulty : Beginner or New to Photoshop
Complication Time : 15 minute

Step 1 : Take a new page
First we need to take a new page for creating water wave effect. Click File > new set the values showing below

Width: 800 px
Height: 600 px
Resolution: 72 pixels/inch
Contents: white
After set all the values click OK.


Step 2 : Set Foreground and Background color

Click set foreground color icon on the tools box. Set the color code is 0033FF then click OK.

Now click set background color icon on the tools box. set the color code is 99CCFF then click OK.

Step 3 : Apply clouds filter

Now we have fill the hole page using clouds filter. Go Filter > Render > Clouds. After apply this filter we will see the page below.

Step 4 :  Adding blur

At this steps we add blur filter. Go Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. then we see a dialog box named

Motion Blur. Enter the value

Angle: 15 (or as your wish)

Distance: 100 

click OK. Now you will see the image like below.

Step 5 : Final step adding ZigZag filter

This is our final step. Go Filter > Distort > ZigZag. A dialog box will open, enter the values given below.

Amount: 100

Ridges: 9 (or as your wish)

Style: Around center

then click OK.

Finally we will see the water wave effect like below.
