Graphic design education always try to presents very easy tutorial. Cause if you are a professional designer you don't need any tutorial and you don't follow any tutorial. But those people who knows little about design or Graphic design education he or she needs help. If we write our tutorial difficultly then those who know little about graphic design they didn't understand anything.

Create a Colorful Swirl Background Effect - Graphic Design Education
Step 1 : Take a new page & set foreground and background color
Take a new page width 800 px * height 600 px from File > New or press Ctrl + N from keyboard. Remember one thing set the color mode RGB and resolution 72.
If you want you can change all those measurement as your requirements or needs.
Now we set our foreground and background as black and white. Click the set foreground color icon from tools bar and pick black color then click the set background color icon from tools bar and pick the white color. You can do this work in a click. Just click the set default foreground and background color icon from tools bar.
Step 2 : Make Some cloud by filter
Now we need to create some cloud. Don't worry sometime later this cloud will be our colorful background. To make cloud go to the Filter > Render > Cloud and our all the document fill with black and white clouds like image 1 below
Now we have to apply another filter Go Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint a window will come click on the Type drop down menu and select short strokes then OK. Our document turn like image 2 up!
Step 3 : Add Radial Blur and Twirl Filter
At this we add Radial Blur Filter. Go Filter > Blur > Radial Blur a window come set the Amount: 100, select Blur Method: Zoom and Quality: Best then click OK.
After applying radial blur filter we have to apply Twirl filter.
Go Filter > Disort > Twirl set the Angel: 130 then OK and see the out put below.
Step 4 : Duplicate Layer and Twirl it again
Go Layer > Duplicate Layer press OK.
Now we get Background copy layer. Select the Background copy layer then go Filter > Disort > Twirl set the Angel: -130 then OK.
Set the blending mode Lighten from the layer palette and you will see a wonderful black and white swirl background created.
Already we get our background and it is black and white. Now we have to turn it into colorful. Don't worry within sometimes we are going to finish this tutorials.
We colorize our background in two steps. First we colorize Background layer then Background copy layer.
Select Background layer go Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation a window will come check on the Colorize option then set Hue=118 and Saturation=58 then OK like Image A below.
Now it's time to Colorize the Background copy layer.
Select Background copy layer go Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation a window will come check on the Colorize option then set Hue=282 and Saturation=87then OK like Image B below.
Our final out put image is below.
