Today at first we will be creating a Eye Catching icon in the Photoshop tutorial. Lets start How to Create a Eye Catching Icon in Photoshop. Create a Eye Catching Icon in Photoshop - Graphic design education

Step 1 : Create A New Document

At first you need to take a new document for Create a Eye Catching Icon in Photoshop - Graphic design education. Click File > new a window will come
Where you take
Width: 600 px
Height: 500 px
Resolution: 72 pixels/inch
Contents: white
Then you press OK

Now fill this new document with #353333 color.

Step 2 : Create A Circle by using Elliptical Marquee Tool

Now we create a new layer, so go Layer>New>Layer>ok. Select the Elliptical marquee tool from tool box and create a circle. Keep holding shift key, when create a circle shape for create this shape perfectly. And fill this shape with #b7b3b3 color. Keep this shape center position in the document.If you need to re-size your shape. You can use Free Transform commend from Edit> Free Transform Or  press keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+T) and re-size your shape as your wise. Then Press Enter.

Step 3 : Create Duplicate layer and Some Decrease it.

At first click on the Layer 1 Layer, Click right mouse button and select Duplicate Layer for create a copy Layer 1 layer. Select Layer 1 copy and some decrease this layer. So go to Edit> Free Transform Or  press keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+T) and decrease your shape. When you decrease your shape, keep holding Shift+Alt. Then Press Enter. Now CTRL + Click on the "Layer 1 copy" layer to create a selection around the small circle. Then go to Select>Modify>Expand>Expand by 3 pixel and Press ok. Again click on the Layer 1 and press delete from the keyboard. And press CTRL+D for remove selection. Now your image is..........

Step 4 : Now Apply Layer Style on the Layer 1

Now apply inner glow and gradient overlay on the layer 1. Click on the "Layer 1" layer and apply inner glow, gradient overlay etc. Go to Layer>Layer Style>Inner Glow and set some inner glow options.

Blend mode: Multiply

Color: Black

Size: 1 Px and others things is right.

After set Inner Glow, we are setting Gradient Overlay. So click Gradient Overlay and set some gradient overlay options.

Blend mode: Soft Light and press ok.

Step 5 : Now Apply Layer Style on the Layer 1 copy

Now apply Drop Shadow, Inner Glow, Outer Glow and gradient overlay on the layer 1 copy Layer. Click on the "Layer 1 copy" layer and apply Drop Shadow, Inner Glow, Outer Glow and gradient overlay etc. Go to Layer>Layer Style>Drop Shadow.

Now click Outer Glow and set some Outer Glow options.

Blend mode: Normal

Color: Black

Size: 16 Px and other values is right.

Now click Inner Glow and set some Inner Glow options.

Blend mode: Multiply

Color: Black

Size: 1 Px and other values is right.

Now click gradient overlay and set some gradient overlay options.

Blend mode: Soft Light and other values is right. Then press ok. You can follow this image.

Step 6 : Now Create Duplicate Layer from Layer 1 copy

At first click on the Layer 1 copy Layer, Click right mouse button and select Duplicate Layer for create a copy Layer 1 copy layer. Select Layer 1 copy 2 and some decrease this layer. So go to Edit> Free Transform Or  press keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+T) and decrease your shape. When you decrease your shape, keep holding Shift+Alt. Then Press Enter. Now CTRL + Click on the "Layer 1 copy 2" layer to create a selection around the small circle. And fill this circle withe blue color or color code #446fce. Now press CTRL+D for remove selection.

Step 7 : Now Apply Layer Style on the Layer 1 copy 2

Now apply Drop Shadow, Inner Glow, Outer Glow and gradient overlay on the layer 1 copy Layer. Click on the "Layer 1 copy" layer and apply Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, gradient overlay, Stroke etc. Go to Layer>Layer Style>Inner Shadow and set some Inner Shadow options.

Blend mode: Normal

Distance: 13

Size: 18

Now click Outer Glow and set some Outer Glow options.

Blend mode: Normal

Color: Black

Opacity: 43

Size: 13 Px and other values is right.

Now click gradient overlay

Blend mode: Multiply

Opacity: 53 and set some gradient overlay options.

Now click Stroke 

Size: 2

Position: Center

Color: Black and set some stroke options. Then Press Ok. You can follow this image.........

Step 8 : Add an Arrow Custom Shape with white color

Now go to Custom Shape Tool - 1> Shape Arrow - 2> Number 3 Arrow follow image> All>Ok> Number 3 Arrow follow image. Then choose color white, follow the image. And Draw arrow on the circle.Now Arrow is a shape. But we will be convert arrow shape to Layer Object. So Right click mouse button on the shape 1 Layer and Click Rasterize Layer. Now Arrow is a Layer Object. Go to Edit>Transform>Rotate 90 CW. And copy this arrow. So select shape 1 layer, Click right mouse button and select Duplicate Layer for create a copy Shape 1 layer and set both shape center point as like this below image.
