How to create a Futuristic Text Effect - Learn PSD Tutorial

Application : Adobe Photoshop Cs
Difficulty : Beginner or New to Photoshop
Complication Time : 15 minute

Step 1 : At first take a new page
At first we need a new page for create lighting Background. Go File>New set the page values as your wish. But you can follow our below image for set page values.

Width: 800 px
Height: 600 px
Resolution: 72 pixels/inch
Contents: white
After set all the values click OK.

Step 2 : Set Foreground and Background color

Click set foreground color icon on the tools box. Set the color code is FFFFFFthen click OK.

Now click set background color icon on the tools box. set the color code is 000000 then click OK

Step 3 : Apply Color in the page

Click Paint Bucket Tool for apply color on the page. Now this page is full black.

Step 4: Add a Text as like LEARN PSD

In this steps we add a text. Here we use "LEARN PSD", if you want you can use your name or other text what you want.

Select the type tool from the tools box

Select Arial Black font and 60pt font size from option bar.

Click the Foreground Color icon from the tools box and Set White As Foreground color then click OK.

Now click into our Photoshop page and type LEARN PSD

Step 5 : Re-size the Text "LEARN PSD"

This steps we expand or re-size our text "LEARN PSD"

Select the text layer (LEARN PSD) from the layer palette then go Edit menu and click Free Transform or keyboard command is Ctrl + T and re-size the text or expand the text "LEARN PSD" as your wish.

After complete re-size press Enter.

Step 6 : Copy theText Layer LEARN PSD

At first click LEARN PSD layer and click mouse right button. Then click Duplicate Layer>ok.

Step 7 : Apply wind effect on the LEARN PSD layer

Now Go Filter>Stylize>wind>ok>Select method - wind, Select Direction - From the right>ok. Then the image is like below image.

Again you Go Filter>Stylize>wind>ok>Select method - wind, Select Direction - From the right>ok. or Press keyboard command Ctrl+F. Then the image is like below image.

Again you Go Filter>Stylize>wind>ok>Select method - wind, Select Direction - From the Left>ok. Then the image is like below image.
